When I try to feed her, she wants to constantly pull at the bottle, shoves it away, grabs it back, etc. for the whole feeding time. She also tries to suck on her thumbs while feeding. It is like a constant battle with the hands...

I used the Avent bottles the first 2 months, and then I forgot to pack a nipple with a bottle and bought a single Nuk bottle at the grocery store nearby, thinking I'd use it and then give it to a friend who uses those bottles... My daughter did so well with it, I ended up buying 6 more and we use...

On second baby and she has a lot of gas issues. Tried playtex drop ins and vent-aire. Nice but not great. Used Avent with first baby, but she didn't have the gas. I didn't like that if you didn't get lid on just right, they will leak. Same with playtex. Now use Dr. Brown's. LOVE THEM...

nesa_z I don't boil the bottles themselves. I use playtex nursers with drop-ins. The drop in liners come sterile, the formula never touches the bottle itself so no need there. I just wash them with hot soapy water. Same with the rings and lids. The nipples I boil every so often and wash with hot...
