A healthy breakfast is the perfect start to a toddler’s day. My children enjoy a wide variety of breakfast foods. My favorite is whole grain waffles topped with fruit, because it is healthy, easy and quick to make. What does your toddler eat for breakfast?
She goes through phases. Some mornings, she doesn't want anything. Others, she'll eat Cheerios and milk or toast and fruit. She's really hit or miss with eating, which is strange because she's so little!
Our breakfast menu varies from day to day, but we always try to combine protein with carbs... so we give her yogurt, cereal with milk and some fruit. Once in a while, we will give her an egg or some toast with jam. When we go out to our local coffee shop, we usually give her blueberry pancakes!
