I'm in my fifth pregnancy and I lost my fourth back in July when i was just a month pregnant. Since learning of this pregnancy I can't cough without getting scared. Any advice for me?
I know how you feel. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, which caused me to almost lose my first pregnancy due to a lack of progesterone. I didn't know it at the time I was first pregnant, but by the time I got pregnant with my second baby, I knew better. But I also knew that I had a 50 percent chance of miscarriage. I took it one day at a time. That first trimester was stressful, but I kept thinking positive, took care of myself and tried not to worry too much. I stayed in touch with my OB and listened to my body.
How far along are you? After 12 weeks, the chances of miscarriage goes down drastically. Was your doctor able to determine the cause of your loss last time? If she did, that might go a long way toward easing your mind.
Hi there, how's it going? I feel your pain, I have lost 2 babies over the last 2 years and I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant again. I'm so scared!! But also so excited. I'm really hoping this one turns out healthy. My only advise is that if you are a believer in God...PRAY. Everyday, pray for your baby. It may sound corny, but it gives me comfort. Listen to your body, you know the warning signs and though there is no way to prevent or predict a miscarriage, you can take as good care of yourself as possible. I hope everything works out...for you and me both! :) But enjoy it, think positive and stay as stress-free as possible. Drink lots of water!!
