I did not even know for almost 21/2 months that i was pregnant. Although my son now is 7 months and it took some time to mentally figure out how am I going to take care of 2 kids almost the same age.
I felt better when i met someone whose kids were exact 12 months apart and even now i am feeling little embarrased about it kinda shy about it telling anyone. My mom still does not know about it.
Now i am ready to have 2nd baby and not so scared. It will be nice to see both my kids grow together.
i can't wait....I am already feeling my baby move little bit...i am 13 weeks today...
Congrats! I remember being scared to death even though we planned baby #2, but everything has worked out just fine. It is so amazing how your heart grows with each child. You wonder how you will ever be able to love or take for another child like you have your first, but it just happens so naturally. I could not imagine life without my daughter.
I had the same experience as BabyNurse. Even though my daughter was 8 when I found out I was pregnant with my second baby, I still was so scared because I had no idea how to be a mom to two kids. I put that fear aside, knowing I would have to find a way to do my best and found that it did just come natually. Things like this fall into place, and even though our new baby was an unexpected surprise, she has brought our family even closer together.
Congrats!!! We have some of the same feelings. My son is 10 months and i'll be 14 weeks this Saturday. At first I was kinda embarrased to tell anyone that I was pregnant so soon afterward. BUt what the hay, whats done is done. I'll just be so glad when I get through with the nausea and get on to feeling the baby kick!!
First off congrats to you soon to be moms and the ladies that are already moms. I realize that I am only 22 but I just wanted to say something to all you moms that are having babies at a older age. Age is NOTHING but a number!!! My mom is in her 40s but is still just as young at heart. Now I aint saying she is running around and all wild like a teenager...lol. Im just saying that your age is just a number and just cause your in your 40s dont mean you can't still have fun and even still have babies. Yes people will probably have their comments and their nasty looks but hey dont let it bother you. I am 22 with 3 kids and trust me I get comments and nasty looks too, but i love my kids and my husband more than anything in this world. I also am a strong believer in God and I feel like God is not going to put more on us than we can handle. So if God blessed you with a child wether you are in your 20s or you are in your 40s he gives us these Blessing for a reason and nobody's comments or looks will make me feel guilty for having my kids!!! So don't worry about other people just be happy to have your family!!!
thank you for your kind words
