breaking through

  • My daughter is 5 months and she has her first tooth breaking through. What advise can I get in regards to helping her get though this without much pain. It that is possible!
  • I read somewhere that teething pain is bad no matter what, and that if adults felt comparable pain, we would not be able to stand it. That being said, all children go through teething differently. For our daughter, our pediatrician recommended Children's Tylenol for infants to help her sleep. Always ask your doctor before giving your child any medication.

The important thing about the Tylenol for us was to give it to her before her last bottle. The toughest part was falling asleep for her, but she was pretty good at staying asleep. It's heartbreaking to see your child in such pain, but we all went through it!
