SLEEPING

  • I have 7 month old twins and a 21 month old. My daughter ( a twin) has slept through the night since she was 8 weeks old and did so on her own. My oldest son, had to learn how to sleep on jis own at 9 months by crying it out, it worked well in about 3 or 4 days. My other son, ( twin) hasnt slept for more than 2 hours at a time since birth. I have tried changing formula, acid reflux meds, CIO method, rocking him, letting him sleep with me, EVERYTHING!( besides giving him anything to makie him sleepy) Does anyone have any other sugguestions? I havent slept in 7 months!! But more than anything I am worried about his growth and development with out sleep. He may sleep 7 hours in a 24 hour period. Other than that, he eats very well and is very happy baby. My doc is out of ideas too.

  • KL0395, I'm sorry none of us popped in with some advice yet. Have things improved or is your son still having trouble sleeping?

If he is full and not otherwise ill or uncomfortable have you tried things like driving around in the car? I know its old school but it really seems to work. I was lucky enough my daughter was a cranky one to get to sleep but would fall asleep eventually if I walked her non-stop long enough... something about not being moving she didnt like (I literally could not stand still or sit down with her without her waking up crying).
