What are the benefits of membership?
My niece has been battling leukemia for the past three years, since my oldest was a baby. But now she is four and has been asking questions about her cousin's illness. As our daughter matures, I'm sure the questions will get tougher. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? How did you handle it?
We finally tried to explain to our oldest about the disease that her cousin is fighting. Luckily, her cousin is feeling better recently and hopefully is on the path to recovery. My oldest didn't quite get what we were saying, but she loves making "get well" cards for her cousin, so it's been a good way of introducing it.
