Who believes in body instincts?

Who believes those instincts? This is my first pregnancy I am 14 weeks going for an ultrasound at the end of the month. My babies are rate was 159-172 lol I just want to know the sex now! Lol ihave a feeling it will be a girl

I very much believe in instincts as well as listening to your body (another kind of instinct).  Congrats on your pregnancy, I hope you will fill us in on the results of that ultrasound!

I think your right if your talking about the old wives tale my baby heart rate last u/s was only 125 and that was at 6 weeks n 5days my new u/s is Friday n if the heart rate stay low...I'm looking at a handsome young man..good luck hope we both get what we wanted :)

I do believe that on some level we are in tune with what is going on with our body. The trick is separating out what we feel with what we really want! Good luck and let us know when you find out what you are having!

 

I know a lot of women who have amazing instincts and completely predicted what they were having! I, on the other hand, was positive I was having a girl and now my sweet little boy is 2 years old! :-) Guess I'm not one of those women. ;-) 

The bottom line is our instincts always have a 50% chance of being right! In other words, your instincts are about as accurate as a coin flip! I have experienced moms who knew they were having a child of a specific gender who were right, and some who were wrong. The wives tales about how you are holding, etc., I have also found to be about as accurate as a coin flip. So, heads it's a girl, tails it's a boy!
