I have a ten month old at home and I have thought about switching her to the Go & Grow Formula for older babies within the next 1 to 1 1/2 months...has anyone tried this newer formula?  Considering she will start drinking regular cows milk soon, I thought this would be a nice addition to her regular diet.

My daughter is almost 13 months old and we just finished the cans of Similac Advance that we had left. We did a slow transition to whole milk and she is now drinking whole milk no problem. I am supplementing with the GO & Grow formula once a day, morning cup. I feel that since I am not giving her any added vitamins and since she has always been on the low side of the growth charts, a little added nutrition isn't going to hurt. Does she need it? Probably not, she eats so good, but this way I know she is getting the additional nutrients she might be needing. For me it is just a supplement and not a whole milk replacement. Use your best judgement or ask your pediatrician. She has had no problems with a different taste or flavor. She drinks it the same as she drank her regular formula for the last 3 1/2 months.  Good luck.

Thanks for the advice.  I have done some more research and have decided to continue with the regular advanced formula until she turns one (only about 2 more months), and then switch her to cows milk like you did with your daughter.  My baby girl is tall and lean (30th percentile for her age), so I would love to add the Go & Grow as an added supplement once a day as well.  She is already on Poly-Vi-Sol for a low hemoglobin count, so switching to an all cows milk diet may not be enough for her.  She loves her formula now, so the taste should not be a problem.  Thanks again for the advice Smile

My daughter was on Go and Grow for most of this past year and she loved it.  She transitioned from her regular formula to the Go and Grow without a problem, and I was really happy with the product itself. Jordan is a small kid and fussy eater, but loved her bottles and milk. She really needed the extra nutrition the Go and Grow gave and we had a really good experience with it.

I have a 13 months old and shes on the Go & Grow Formula and she loves it...My doctor recommended it because she was on Similac advance and when she turned a year I gave her whole milk and she broke out into a rash and I also gave her latose whole milk but she wouldnt take it..But I'm thankful they came out with the Go & Grow Formula because its great and she loves it.
