My grandmother recently passed away and my sister is pregnant and having a difficult time managing her grief. How did you deal with grief while you were pregnant? Did you find it more difficult to process your emotions? -- Bonnie, Strongmoms Facilitator
I think that dealing with grief, pregnant or not, is hard. When pregnant I think it's particularly important that we take really good care of ourselves. I think having that awareness that we need to be gentle on our mind and our body. Then using all those good coping tools-reaching out for support, getting a bit of extra sleep, assuring meals get eaten, and so on.
