What are the benefits of membership?
I have preemie twins and just found out from my pediatrician that because they were premature and need a specific formula my insurance company and my husbands insurance company will pay for it,,,you should definately look into it.
Check into WIC, but also ebay can be a good source.
Where did you sign up for the coupons?
My husband and i go to costco. We use to go to sams but they do not carry the neosure. Also, have you check on this website? i know they sell the larger cans of neosure i'm just not sure on the price. Good Luck.
can you call the company that makes it and ask them for help. Sometimes they will or samples or coupons. Good luck with your baby
Hi I also have a peemie. His doctor prescribed Neosure and I was able to claim Neosure purchases on my flexable spending account which covers out of pocket med expenses. Also the lowest price I found was at Target 85.95 for 6 cans (powder) -> 14.33 each Also the company sent me a free liquid sample.
I have to ask... how is your daughter doing? I just had my second child and thankfully went to 38 weeks with her after weekly progesterone injections. My first daughter was born at 24 weeks 3 days. I guess I also wanted to give you some words of encouragment as I've been where you are and know how terrifying and stressful it is. When Natalie was discharged from the NICU after two brain surgeries we were told in blunt terms that we were most likely looking at raising a child in a wheel chair who wouldn't be able to comprehend everyday tasks let alone ever learn to do them. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at about a year old and her nuerologist told us we would just have to wait and see what course it took. Natalie is now just past her 3rd birthday and couldn't being doing any better. The cerebral palsy hasn't shown in any form. She is the most vibrant, imaginative, loving child I've ever met. She's constantly called our miracle baby as her doctors are amazed and bewildered everytime she has a checkup. All of the doctors appointments and medications... and stares you get from people because your tiny tiny newborn has an oxygen tank attatched to her can be really taxing... but hang in there. There is hope. Congratulations on how far she's come already and I wish your family nothing but the best.
My daughter was also born a preemie and was put on Neosure for about 1 yr. call you health insurance to see if its covered under your health insurance. Mine was covered with a pediatricions RX. good luck!
I have two children and my first was born at 29 weeks 6 days. She was on neosure for the first year of her life. The price you are getting it at is the best you are going to find. Use all the coupons you can find. Call your insurance company to see if they will cover it. Also talk to your doctor and see if he/she has any samples. We got a ton of samples from our doctor and also from my brother-in-law who is also a pediatrician. Also see if your doctor has any coupns, we got a whole stack from ours. Hopefully your daughter is doing well and I also pray she does not develop a milk allergy. My son who was born full term has a milk allergy and his formula costs $26 for a small can. I would gladly go back to the neosure!
My daughter was born at 32 weeks and we are on Neosure. She finally came home 2 days ago after being in the NICU for a month. I signed up with the WIC program in my state and they give me 28 ready to feed quarts a month.

I know you posted this over a year ago but I just had a preemie son in august he was born at 33 weeks. I had no idea about the insurance covering his formula. I will be calling first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you so much for posting this!!!!
My daughter was born at 34 weeks, and is 8 weeks old now, 2 weeks adjusted. The NICU gave us formula when we left and we also received 4 $5.00 off coupons from strong moms. Walmart sells formula the cheapest I've seen.
Congratulations!! I do hope they cover his formula.... good luck.
