I have started back to work and my 7 month old is still nursing. I have an electric pump but I have more luck using my hand pump. I also have a 3 year old and I need to pump as much as possible for my son but I also need to do it as quickly as possible. Anyone have any ideas on how to get my electric...

  • Length of time to breastfeed?

I am going to be returning to work soon. I am currently pumping breastmilk at home and initially decided to stop before I go back to work. I feel a little guilty about not providing my son with something so special. I have pumped for almost 3 months. Should I be happy that I was able to at least provide...

  • Breast Pumps...

Does anyone have any recommendation on a breast pump. I am borrowing the Medela Pump in Style from a friend and it is working out well. I am thinking of maybe buying a pump of my own. I will be going back to work in a couple weeks and will be pumping in my car. My neighbor recommended to get a Ameda...

Pumping is out of the question because it hurts so much and I barely pump anything. I like it that dad can feed her, and I'm fine with...

  • Re: breastfeeding?!??!!!!

I just had my first baby on 9-21-10. I breast feed him as well. I use the same breast pump and just store the milk once im done in freezer bags. I also use different kinds of bottles. But make sure on the nipples its the ones that say "slow" for milk to come out for when the baby drinks. I...

  • Re: Some advice please...

I'm so sorry you have to make this choice. Mommies carry such a burden. I agree that you don't have to stop completely and honestly the weaning process would be better for both of you if you didn't. You'll ache a little during the day but nurse as soon as you go home and all throughout...

  • Re: Engourgement period

I dont remember the brand we purchased (it was available at target) but it was electric and about $30-$40 if memory serves. I dont know how it compares to the more expensive versions of electric pump, but my wife found it useful for pumping when she needed to. If that wont work, I agree you should look...
