  • Help! 10 week old sleep problems

My 10 week old daughter has a terrible time going to sleep if she's not swaddled or being held. She's been like this since day 1. I have a few more weeks to hopefully get this sleeping thing down before I return to work. We used to have to sneak her into her crib after she was in a deep sleep...

  • 6 Months and Still No Schedule!

As much as i hate to admit it, I rather enjoyed my son's sleeping habbits when he was just born rather than now. Going on 6 months and 12 days, he has decided that he is going to wake up three times every night and cry himself to death. I have no idea if it's because he is bored, or because he...

I agree i just dont know how long i hsould really let him cry for. For example: I will feed him his bottle...

  • Re: My 2 week old is awake a lot during the day and only sleeps 3 or 4 hours at night!

It is getting better now thankfully. He is eating about anywhere from 4-6 oz at a feeding every 3 hours now. He is sleeping about a 6-8 hour stretch at night now. He will be 2 months old on Saturday. My only concern at this point is his naps during the day, some days he hardly naps and most of the time...

My oldest son, had to learn how to sleep on jis own at 9 months by crying it out, it worked well in about 3 or 4 days. My other son, ( twin) hasnt slept for...

  • Re: A Dad's views on Baby Sleep and CIO (Crying it out)

Ugh! Getting your baby to sleep through the night is always an issue it seems, and CIO is usually at the heart of the debate. When it came to my kids, I tried CIO and it did not work, mostly because they are so strong willed. My youngest didn't start sleeping through the night until she was about...
