  • Re: Some advice please...

I'm so sorry you have to make this choice. Mommies carry such a burden. I agree that you don't have to stop completely and honestly the weaning process would be better for both of you if you didn't. You'll ache a little during the day but nurse as soon as you go home and all throughout...

  • How do you measure the time between feeds?

How do you measure the amount of time between breastfeedings? I have been nursing every 2 hours from the time I start feeding. For Example, I start at 7am and he nurses for about 45 mins. I then would start to nurse again at 9am. Or do you count your two hours from the time you ended the feed. Any help...

  • feeding and sleeping cycles

I have been trying to get my daughter, who just turned 8 weeks to sleep more through the night. At first she seems to wake up as soon as her music turns off, but after about midnight she sleeps better. I have just started last week and I have been trying three hour feeding cycles. I'm just not sure...

  • Re: Engourgement period

It really is so much easier to breastfeed your baby than mess with the pumping. It is often recommended not to pump until you have been breastfeeding successfully for more than a month. I nursed my son every 2 hours during the day and he was waking up every 4 hours at night. The engorgement period is...

  • Pumping Breastmilk

My son is nine months old and I am still breastfeeding and working. Now that he is older and is on solid food he only nurses 4-5 times a day every 4-6 hours. Do I still need to be pumping every 2-3 hours when I am away from him or can I just pump when he would normally eat?

  • Re: Which bottles work best for breastmilk?

I am still nursing my 9 month old son but still needed bottles for daycare. I was using the evenflo comfi bottles. He started refusing his bottles so I researched a lot of different bottles. I switched him to the Playtex Ventaire Advanced with the wide nipple. These bottles are made for nursing babies...

  • RE: Stopping lactation

My baby is three weeks old. Due to problems with birth, I am feeding my baby breastmilk by pumping full time. I would like to stop. Any suggestions? I am pumping quit a bit of milk. I am attempting to slow down on the amount and length of time between pumping. Now I am experiencing engorged breasts which...

Okay, so this is my 3rd baby.. (finally a boy..YAY!) I was not successful breastfeeding my first baby. My nipples are not perky whatsoever and areola's are huge. • Re: Nursing in public

I was so modest before I had my daughter. Not any more! I don't mind nursing in public. The cover ups do work great. I have the BEBE AU Lait brand with the bonig at the top so I can see baby. Another trick is to use a dressing room because they're ususlly much cleaner than restrooms. The trouble...
