  • Random Night Screaming

My 9 month old has been waking up in the middle of the night, screaming. A complete meltdown, which I cannot calm by changing his diaper, feeding, or just holding/soothing him. As soon as I calm him and put him in his crib, and he completely freaks out and I have to start all over again. In fact, even...

  • Re: Not getting any sleep at night--How do you cope?

My fiance was really good at reminding me that it is just a phase. Repeating this to myself in moments that seem unbearable really helped (and still does!) and helps me enjoy the precious moments even more.

  • What time should I put my 4 1/2 month old to sleep?

I've been trying to figure out what time is best to put my 4 1/2 old to bed. Most of the time, I start his bedtime routine (bath, book, feed) around 7:45-8:00 p.m. and he's usually in bed by 9:00 p.m. at the latest. However, I noticed he usually seems to want to take a nap around 6:00 - 7:00...

  • Erratic sleeping/feeding patterns

My daughter is 6 weeks old, and she seems to want to eat about every 2.5 - 3 hours. But at night, the pattern seems to be erratic. She was sleeping pretty well through the night, staying asleep for a good 3-5 hours before waking up to be fed. Lately though, she is waking up every 2 hours. We are currently...

  • Sleeping long periods at a time

Hi ladies. I am Alexandra and the mother of 4. My newest baby is 10 weeks old and he is the best one so far. My question is I am breast and bottle feeding and the last couple of days, my son has been sleeping allllll night. He could go to sleep by 8 pm and get up between 5:30-6 am to feed again. Even...

  • Re: Sleep patterns

My 2.5 month old takes naps in her swing. We've tried everything to put her down for a nap in her crib, but as soon as we put her down she wakes up and starts crying. However, we can put her in the swing wide awake when it's her nap time and she crashes within the next 20 minutes. She sleeps...

  • Sleep patterns

Hi all, I need to know how to get my 3 month old daughter to nap during the day in her bassinet or crib. She will nap in our arms for 2 hour nap twice a day if we hold her, but when we put her down she wakes up in a few minutes or right away. At night though she falls asleep in our arms around 9pm to...

  • Re: baby having problems slepping at night

My daughter had her days and nights mixed up to for a long time. I finally got her broke of making sure I woke her up during the day at least every three hours to eat. (I was breastfeeding then, now i'm not) and keeping the room very bright and the tv loud. I also started to swaddling her in a kiddopotamus...

  • Sleeping through the night???

When we first brought my son home, we were amazed to find out that by 9 weeks old, he was already sleeping 12 hours at night. However, it is not always this easy. When my third child was born, he didn't sleep for 12 hours at night until he was almost 10 months old! Mothers often get the wrong idea...
