I've always liked Gabrielle! Other suggestions since you asked... hmm... I like Jasmine and if he wants something more complicated you could always go with something like Nevaeh which is "heaven" spelled backwards :)

A friend of mine found an oversized purse / tote that she uses for a diaper bag and she got it at Target for about $20. It's very cute and fits all of her gear. I have a back pack syle diaper bag by Columbia that my husband picked out. Another friend has the same one and she loves how it frees up both arms while out and about. I'm looking forward

Only you know what's right for you. Your daughter has a life of her own and you have your life. I went to school with a guy who's uncle was about the same age as him and they were just like siblings. There was nothing wierd about it. Just take care of yourself and ignore the criticisim. Enjoy your pregnancy and may you have a happy healthy baby

Congrats! I'm having a boy too! I'm lucky in the fact that I have a brother and my husband has 2 but they will be the first to tell you there are no set rules for boys or girls. I was facinated with engines and motorcycles at a young age (still am) and my husband loves photography and drawing and going to the ballet. On the other hand I sew

It's been a rough week. As I hit the 30 week mark my 92 year old grandmother has gone into the hospital with congestive heart failure and failing kidneys. Though I know her age makes this inevitable it is still hard. My mother will be flying out to care for her if she gets released to go home which also means my baby shower may be cancelled. I'm

I hear ya with the "I miss my normal body"! I told my husband it's like invasion of the body snatchers. LOL. I went from personal trainer / triathlete to a woman who gets winded doing the dishes. It sucks! It's our first baby too so I feel rediculously guilty that my husband seems to be doing all the work on getting the house ready

I' due June 6th with my first and it's a boy :)

My heart goes out to you! There is NOTHING wrong with having your friend as your labor coach. If you're worried your Mom might be upset just explain it as your friend has been learning everything as you go along because of your past history with "early arrivals". You're going to be under enough stress without having to worry about

I'm 27 weeks along with my first and have one heck of a cold. I've already been in to the doctor and it's not strep or anything serious... just a cold. I just can't breathe! I've had to sleep in a chair the last few nights because it's worse when I lay down... I just want this to be OVER! Anyone else as miserable?

I'm 24 weeks and when my son gets going I can watch my ID badge that hangs around my neck at work bounce when I'm sitting and it's resting on my tummy! Every time I go to swim laps, though, I think he falls asleep from the rocking back and forth. Too cute!
