Top Tips and Checklist at 5 Weeks Pregnant

  • Around your 5th week of pregnancy, set up your first prenatal visit and review the First Prenatal Visit Checklist. Write down your questions so you won't forget anything.
  • While you're at your first prenatal visit, ask for your free Similac© Weekly Journal so you can record changes both of you go through.
  • Keep on taking your prenatal vitamins, or start taking them if you haven't already. Ask your doctor for a prescription.
  • Check out prenatal exercise classes at your local fitness center. And look for ones you love. You'll be more motivated to stick with regular exercise if you're enjoying it. Plus, it's a great way to meet other soon-to-be moms.
  • Bring on the fruits and veggies! Try to include one or the other as part of every meal and snack.
