Similac Pro-Sensitive Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why so foamy?? Product seems okay so far but its so foamy! No matter how i stir it or gently shake it. Even if i make a bottle beforehand and have it sit there's still no way of making the bubbles dissolve. Worried it could be causing my daughter some gas pains because she has now started spitting up more and seeming a lot more aggravated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very foamy My daughter was really fussy and had a lot gas and would constantly throw up a lot (still does) and this formula was ok it stopped with the gas and fussiness. I don’t like that it’s to foamy. I feel like I’m wasting formula and formula is not cheap. Is there any other formula recommendations?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work for my baby My son was on Enfamil Gentlease & was having some gas pains. I thought that he may have a lactose issue. When I switched to the Similac Pro-Sensitive it made his gas 100 times worse. We both got no sleep last night. This is unfortunate because I now have a container of formula that I paid for & can no longer use. Now will have to go back to the Enfamil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Foamy Working great to ease the fuzziness and comfort my baby’s little tummy, however, it is very foamy. We tried very hard to go very gentle when shaking/stirring it with water, but as soon as we moved the bottle upside down to feed the baby, the foams come out. The old version of this formula worked just fine with the foamy situation, wonder what’s in the new one makes it so foamy..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be careful I spent $28 on this container of formula which is more than most this size but it helps my baby with being gassy but I spilt half of the container trying to get it open because the seal on the inside of the container doesn't open like it should. The pull tab broke off and it was almost impossible to get open and it caused me to spill it and lost half the container onto the floor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for gas We put my baby on pro-advance when breast feeding didn’t work and she was extremely gassy and yelling through gas pains. Doctor had us try pro-sensitive and the gas pains are a lot less but baby is now having a hard time pooping. She also went from eating every 4-5 hours to eating every 2 hours. Not sure if it’s because the formula is “easy to digest” it makes her hungry faster but it has not been fun. She slept through the night on pro-advance. I’m hoping similac has some advice of a formula we can try. I’d hate to switch to enfamil because she really loves the similac.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gimmick. My child is screaming because of gas and it causes blowouts. If your child does good on this they don't need it. I don't care what the ingredients say, I have to burp her every bit as much as when we use regular formula. Enjoy high prices and long nights if you feed your baby this product.
