I am so glad I can give my baby an organic formula and he doesn't have any problems with it. It does take quite a few shakes to get it to mix well and it does create quite a bit of foam. The foam ends up settling some. I rather have some foam left than give him a non-organic formula.

As a first time mother to my son, I always wanted the best. I do breastfeeding and bottle feeding both. So I thought of giving him organic similac formula. I started organic since Day 1. After 4 months of using the formula, I found a little bug inside the formula . And that bug was alive. I took the video of it..I will keep it for a proof . Also, my 3 cousins were with me at the spot. I have enough evidence if I have to show. Thank god I saw it before I put it into the bottle. After that i threw that formula. I usually buy from buybuy baby but this one I bought from Target. I am confused which formula to give my son. I am very very stress out at this time...

I started supplementing my 6 week year old daughter with Similac Sensitive. I never had any problems with her this formula. I heard about the Organic one and instantly thought it would be better for her. I was wrong!!! She has been on Similac Organic for 3 days now and it has been nothing but a nightmare. She doesn't sleep as much any more. She extremely fussy and has horrible gas problems now. When mixed properly in her bottle it is a gritty thick pasty like substances. I wish I never switched and I will be going back to my original choice.

Disappointed in this product as it caused my three month old to have severe constipation. Also disappointed to see how much sugar and maltodextrin is in this product. Not worth the price paid, and doesn't live up to the "organic" label.

I've recently switched to this organic formula after feeding the similac non gmo formula to my son for the past five months. On the non gmo formula he's a wonderful sleeper. One long two hour nap and a shorter one hour nap every day. He slept through the night starting at 3 months. A couple days ago I switched to the organic formula because, well, it's organic.
First I noticed that it's foamy when mixed. It's also grittier, and separates when sitting for a while. But he seems to really like the formula, so the mixture didn't bother me. However I noticed his sleeping habits completely change as well. During the day he won't sleep more than 30 to 40 minutes. If I'm lucky he'llsleep during a short car ride. He's tired and fussy, and cranky. It's exhausting. By the end of the day he his almost impossible to handle because he's so overtired. He takes his bottle at night and goes right to sleep. But hen he wakes up less than an hour later and the battle begins. Soooo much crying! He won't settle down. It's like he too wound up to sleep soundly.
This didn't happen before when I was feeding him the non gmo. I'm definitely switching back to it! I would recommend the non gmo over organic.
Also I did notice the difference in the ingredients between the two. The organic formula lists organic sugar. The non gmo doesn't have an added sugar. If the organic formula didn't have the extra sugar content I wouldn't mind sticking to it. I really do believe the extra sugar is what's causing my baby to sleep significantly less.

My daughter is 4 months. I exclusively breastfeed but my milk supply is starting to dry up.. So I wanted the next best thing for her which would be an organic formula. I like this product but I am not completely happy with it because it has so much foam/ bubbles & I feel it's formula wasted and with the price it cost I would hate to be losing any.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ally82 Mixes Poorly
We decided to switch my son from Total Comfort to the Organic version of Similac Advanced due to the fact that I'm not entirely crazy about the idea of feeding him maltodextrin as the primary ingredient in his food. While the organic formula did smell better, it does not mix well at all. The final product has the appearance of a granular vanilla latte, complete with an airy foam of which any professional barista would be envious. While my son had no problem taking the bottle, I noticed a particularly unsavory film coating the bottle afterwards. The visual was enough to convince me to return the package. We eat first with our eyes and Similac Organic makes me want to shut mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Art2016 Not for us
I was given a few samples in the hospital until my milk came in and they worked great. I am a bf mom who gives the occasional formula when out. Just encase I didn't provide enough milk I bought this as a backup. For a whole day I had a baby who was fussy, vomiting, and crying. I wouldn't say my little one has a sensitive stomach because I have given other similac product, but this is not for us.
