Similac NeoSure Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results My baby was born at 23 weeks. His weight at the time 1 pound 12 oz. he is now 9 months or 5 months corrected age and weighs 17 pounds. We have been happy with his development. Yes, he is gassy, but I was also given some gas drops and his bowel movement is slow at time but I was given some suppositories for that as well. When we left NICU he was on the ready to feed formula and was advised at high risk clinic to continue with the ready to feed option. It has been expensive but totally worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If my sons doctor did not recommend it I wouldn’t buy this I do not like this milk. It gives my baby terrible gas every feeding. He can’t sleep and I have to use gas drops. I wish I could switch to something else. It’s frustrating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Formula with some side effects I agree with most of the mom's on here. My baby girl was born at 34weeks and was immediately placed on Neosure. My baby is very gassy bit it has helped her grow tremendously. I also think this formula is very expensive but it's the only formula she has been on since birth. With Covid cases consistently rising, it's hard to find and the stores run out so fast but it's so expensive you can't buy 4 or 5 quarts/cans at a time. I need coupons, vouchers, or something to help with the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both my babies have used/ currently using this formula Both my children have needed this formula. I love it. It has helped my son put back his birth weight and then some already. He was born 35 weeks 4 days. And my daughter has exceeded expectations and is currently a healthy and brilliant 4 year old.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for weight , poor for bowls Had my baby at 37/38 weeks and even tho that is considered full term my baby was tiny for his game age weighting 5 pounds and 1 oz. So they put him on Neosure to make sure he gains weight which he is. But the thing is he is fussy and has had problems with constipation and he has just turned 2 months and that's bout how long he's had the issue. Plus with the gas as well. Not really sure what to do they want him to stay on it but my baby is miserable trying to pass stool and almost nothing is helping at this point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great "Stuff" My baby boy was born at 27 weeks. He weighed 1lb, 14ozs at birth. He spent 2 months in the NICU. He was 4lbs when he came home. When he was discharged, they told me to give him Neosure twice a day and breastmilk. He wouldnt tolerate the breastmilk. (I know, weird) He is now on Neosure exclusively. He gained 2-3lbs in less than a month. The only thing that I had a minor concern about is, he is gassy and has trouble moving his bowels. It takes a few days for him to go. If you can figure out a way to control the gas and constipation Neosure causes, this would be the PERFECT formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sauce My twins were born at 36 weeks , no NICU time . . this has been the one and only formula that they have been on . . they are now 6 months weighing 20lbs a piece ! I didn’t have to switch formula or go through the motions of trying and testing what worked for Them ! This was the first and only formula my boys have had to try out
