Vaccinate yourself and your baby, if 6 months or older, every year.


2. Wash Your Hands
Use soap and water before and after caring for your baby.


3. Limit Contact
Limit your baby’s contact with others.


4. Hugs Versus Kisses
Refrain from kisses on or around your baby’s mouth.


5. Keep It Clean
Use hot, soapy water or a dishwasher for dishes and utensils.
